In partnership with the Salt River Community Children’s Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, NAGI Foundation offers a specialized program for Salt River youth aged 13-18. Learn More

Emergency Medical Assistance

If your pet has an urgent medical issue, such as illness or injury, or if they are in need of dental care, we may be able to help. Please email us or send us a message us on Facebook and provide the following:

  • Your name and a phone number where you can be easily reached.
  • Details about your pet, such as age, sex and species.
  • Describe all the symptoms your pet is experiencing or any other information you think we should know.
  • If there is an injury present, please include photos. This will help us provide the best level of support.

IMPORTANT: If your pet is in a serious life-threatening situation, we urge you to visit a local emergency clinic. Find a list of local veterinarians, including emergency clinics here. (Some do offer payment plans.)

Spay/Neuter Services (COVID-19)

Due to COVID-19, NAGI Foundation Animal Health clinics are paused. However, we can still offer limited spaces for spay/neuter services during this time for Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members and employees.

Surgery will take place at the Midwestern University Campus in Glendale on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings only.

Core vaccinations will be available for pets at their surgery appointment if they are due.

Kittens/Cats – must be at least six weeks old & at least 2 lbs

Puppies/Dogs – must be at least eight weeks old & under 25 lbs
